I hate to say goodbye to summer, but I do love fall fashion! A staple to the fall wardrobe is a jacket. What’s your go-to fall jacket? Denim? Leather? Here are some that I came across that I’d love to add to my closet. What […]

Did you know that 1 out of 5 people will develop skin cancer? That’s a pretty scary statistic! I went to my dermatologist today for a full body checkup to make sure all of my spots, marks, etc. are OK. I had noticed a new one on my leg that looked different, so that initially gave me the idea of getting checked out.
I’m happy to say that my dermatologist said everything looks great! That mark on my leg is a sun spot and she said it’s fine.
As I’m sitting here typing this, I’m thinking that I’m really blessed to have gotten a good report today. Sure, I put on SPF when I go to the beach or pool, but there’s been numerous times this summer where I’ve been out and about and I don’t protect myself from the sun.
I want to encourage anyone who is reading this to make an appointment with a dermatologist to get their skin checked. Summer is winding down so now is really a great time to do it!
Good morning, friends! I tried something different this morning for breakfast – toasted Ezekiel bread topped with goat cheese and sauteed peaches (and of course a smoothie on the side)! It was really delicious and filling. I do think my Ezekiel bread toast is missing […]
It’s raining so what better than some online shopping. Am I right?
I was looking online for workout clothes and found some really awesome sales online. Some brands I don’t currently own so I can’t 100% vouch for them, but I thought I’d share the info with you guys! Do you own any of these brands/looks?
Let me know in the comments below.
Have a great day!
The kids spent the night at grandma and papa’s house so I didn’t really have any excuses to not go running with my husband this morning. I hadn’t run in months so I knew it would be really hard. I’m so glad I did it!!
Running with someone else is so awesome. Keeps me motivated and stops me from taking too many breaks during the run. I ran the first mile non-stop despite feeling out of breath and like I was going to die (yes, I can be dramatic). My husband is a runner and wanted to keep going until we reached 4 MILES. Since I’m just getting back into exercising we decided to do a run/walk. So, that’s what we did for the next 3 miles – we ran a quarter mile then walked a quarter mile; ran a half mile then walked a half mile, etc. Not gonna lie, it was TOUGH!
I feel really accomplished and very SORE. haha
As you can see from the photo above, my current running sneakers have HOLES in them! I think I’m overdue for a new pair. Right??
I’m a little undecided, but I’m thinking about trying Adidas Ultraboost. I need to try them on and see if they’ll be good for me.
Here’s a link to the sneakers I want to try. What’s your favorite running sneaker?
