Wake me up smoothie!

This is my new favorite pick me up type of drink to make in the afternoon. I call it the wake me up smoothie! 

It reminds me of the Chick-fil-A frosted lemonade but without the guilt.

Wake Me Up!

Serves 1

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Vega brand, plant based)
  • 1 scoop AdvoCare pink lemonade spark
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup of filtered water

Add everything into your blender and blend it up, pour it and enjoy!

Thinking about kickboxing outfits

As mentioned in my previous post, I’ll be taking up kickboxing soon. I started looking into different outfits that I can wear and here’s some that I came up with.

Hi everybody! Hope you’re having a great Monday. 

I wanted to share something that I’m really excited (and nervous) about. I’m going to be trying kickboxing for the first time later this week! 

I’m excited because I think it’ll be a great workout for me and I’ll burn a ton of calories and hopefully some stubborn fat. I’ve always wanted to try it! Yay endorphins! Haha

The reason I’m nervous is because I’ve been dealing with some painful shin splints. I’ve taken a break the past few days from running and have been icing my shins to help my body heal. Hopefully I don’t destroy my shins with all the kicking and punching! 

I found a sweet deal on Groupon for the classes and will be going with a friend of mine. We’re both new to kickboxing so it’ll be fun to do it together.

Now, the big question is… What should I wear?

For those that watched my Instagram stories yesterday, you saw a conducted a poll to see how many people guessed what was in the green smoothie I made. Well, the wait is over! Haha so intense, right?

I don’t have a name for this smoothie but here’s the recipe.

  • One AVOCADO
  • One granny Smith apple
  • Spinach (I was running out so there was prob only half a cup)
  • One cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • One cup ice
  • And….. One 🍊 ORANGE

This yielded about 3 servings.
