Walt Disney World Recap

Walt Disney World Recap

If you follow me on Instagram you saw that my family went to Walt Disney World at the end of October. It was a surprise birthday trip for me actually. My husband really made my birthday extra special this year to say the least. He did tell me about it beforehand but the kids didn’t figure it out until we were there!

He booked the All Star Movies resort for our stay. It’s one of their more affordable options. In the past we’ve stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort and had a good stay. The All Star Movies was good for our long weekend trip. We didn’t spend much time at the resort so it didn’t matter that it wasn’t high end. The room accommodations were average but comfortable and clean. The pools looked really nice. Sadly, we didn’t have time to enjoy them. When we thought we would, the weather ended up being real cold actually. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Honestly, I don’t have real complaints about the resort. I do think Disney charges more for their resorts since they are on Disney property and they offer extra perks.

We were in Disney for 4 days, 3 nights and decided to go to Animal Kingdom the first day, Magic Kingdom for the next 2 and Epcot on the last day. It was a whirlwind trip and I truly loved it! I’ve gone to Disney several times and this was the best trip so far. There’s something extra magical about it when you see joy through the eyes of your children.

I’ll be sharing more about each park in upcoming blog posts.
